Fresh and supple
The story of chateau Le Roudier:
It is a family property acquired in 1958 by the grandfather, with an area of 5ha which was planted white vines. The father of Mr. Chevrier began to exploit this property in 1968 and has fully planted red grape and it was after his death in 1991 that Mr. Chevrier took over the exploitation.

Viticulture
85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon
Terroir: clay
Vineyard’s size: 22 hectares

Vinification
Traditional, cold maceration, control of the temperatures, 3 weeks of fermentation.

Analysis 

Alcohol : % vol

Tasting Notes
Young, dark purple color. The nose is driven by fresh red and black fruits. The palate shows pronounced exuberance and youthful fruit.

Food Matching : Beef and vegetable stew, cooked meats.
