Story of the Puy Galland:
This vineyard is managed by Labatut family for 3 generations. In 2010, Bernard and his son David have joined forces, to create the SCEA Vignobles Labatut.

Viticulture
Merlots 90%, Cabernet sauvignon 10%
Terroir: clay and limestones
Vineyard’s size: 6 hectares
Density : 5000 plants/ha
Yield : 40 hectolitres/hectares
Average annual production : 24 000 bottles
Vinification
Maceration before fermentation, fermentation under 28°c during 3 weeks. Ages in stainless tanks and oak barrels during 12 months.

Alcohol : % vol
Tasting Notes
A deep and intense color. Notes of red berries with aroma of wood and cocoa. The richness and elegance of tannins predict a good ageing potential.
