APPELLATION: AOP Cadillac Cotes de Bordeaux
The story of the du Point de Vue:
We are winegrower and harvesters for generations while my great aunts and uncles were already producing sweet wine in the 1930s. However, the brand “Château Mémoires” was founded in 1985 by my father, Jean-François Ménard. Today we produce about 150 000 bottles from 35 hectares of vines in converting biological agriculture since 2012. Our range of wines is broad with dry white AOC wines, red and rosé, as well as Sweet Bordeaux, AOC Cadillac.

Viticulture
65% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc
Terroir: Gravely and sandy-calcareous
Vineyard’s size: 9.5 hectares

Vinification
Mechanical
Traditional, cold maceration, control of the temperatures, 3 weeks of fermentation.

Analysis 

Alcohol : .0 % vol

Tasting Notes
Limpid and deep red ruby color. Fine and complex nose of spices and blackcurrant. Fleshy balance with fine tannins. Finish focused on black fruits.
