The wine-producing soil of the Mâconnais is mainly soft limestone over layers of marl, loam and broken pebbles, one of the oldest soil in France.
Crushing and pressing the grapes to extract the must, then fermented at controlled temperature. Aged on the lees in stainless steel tank. Bottled at 6-8 months before release.

Mâcon-Villages is a fairly lively, very charming wine. When very young, whatever the year, it is
characterised by floral and fruity aromas, with a few nuances of lemon and a beautiful minerality.
FOOD & WINE PAIRINGS: Should be served chilled. White Mâcon is very pleasant with shellfish, fish and entrées. It is also excellent as an aperitif.
VEGGIE : Asparagus steamed with a Hollandaise sauce.
